Abstract

The study investigates the influence of women's agency on accessing reproductive healthcare services in Iran, a country with significant cultural and legal barriers. Through qualitative interviews with women of reproductive age, healthcare providers, and policymakers, the research reveals how individual capacity, financial autonomy, and social media usage enable women to navigate these barriers. However, relational and structural factors, such as men's exclusion from reproductive health services and legal restrictions, continue to hinder women's agency. The findings emphasize the need for comprehensive sexual and reproductive education and policy changes to support women's rights and improve healthcare outcomes.
