Abstract

The study investigates the protective potential of salicylic acid (SA) and melatonin (MT) in bell pepper plants against Botrytis cinerea, a fungus causing gray mold. It examines how these plant growth regulators influence growth attributes and enzyme activities, enhancing the plants' resilience against the fungus. The research also explores the interactive effects of SA and MT, highlighting their unique benefits in controlling the disease. The findings offer promising strategies for managing fungal diseases in bell pepper cultivation, contributing to improved crop yield and quality.
