Improved dynamic reconfiguration strategy for power maximization of TCT interconnected PV arrays under partial shading conditions

Abstract

The article discusses the challenges of partial shading in photovoltaic (PV) arrays and presents a novel dynamic reconfiguration strategy to maximize power output in TCT interconnected PV arrays. It highlights the limitations of existing IEq methods and introduces a new approach that focuses on minimizing irradiance errors in both rows and columns. The proposed strategy is validated through theoretical analysis and experimental results, demonstrating significant improvements in power production compared to conventional methods. The article also includes a detailed mathematical model and experimental setup, making it a valuable resource for specialists in the field of renewable energy and electrical engineering.
