Abstract

The article introduces an enhanced two-stage energy community optimization model designed to manage renewable energy sources and electric vehicles efficiently. The model considers uncertain input data and integrates advanced battery storage systems, including charging and discharging efficiencies and battery degradation costs. By optimizing energy scheduling and trading on local energy markets, the model aims to reduce CO2 emissions and minimize costs. The research highlights the importance of considering battery degradation costs and the potential benefits of local energy market participation, providing a robust framework for improving energy community operations.
