Abstract

This chapter introduces the ARC-Net model, a novel trust management system for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) that combines optimization and machine learning techniques. The model dynamically adjusts trust levels based on node behavior, enhancing network reliability and energy efficiency. Key topics include the integration of adaptive penalty coefficients, the calculation of direct and indirect trust, and the consideration of energy trust. The chapter also explores the ARC-Net model's architecture and algorithm, providing a comprehensive overview of its components and functionality. Experimental investigations demonstrate the model's effectiveness in maintaining network integrity and extending network lifespan. The findings highlight the model's potential to significantly improve the security and performance of WSNs in practical scenarios.
