Abstract

The article delves into the complex process of phosphorus transformation and migration during the gas-based reduction of high-phosphorus oolitic hematite. It highlights the significance of understanding these processes for enhancing iron recovery and phosphorus separation. The study employs advanced techniques such as confocal laser scanning microscopy and tube furnace reduction experiments to observe morphological changes and phosphorus migration at different temperatures. Notably, it introduces the use of Al2O3 additives to control phosphorus distribution, presenting a novel approach to optimize the reduction process. The findings offer valuable insights for the clean utilization of high-phosphorus iron ores, contributing to more efficient and sustainable steel production.
