Nach dem B2C-Bereich hält das Thema Digitalisierung nun Einzug in B2B-Branchen, so auch in den Maschinen- und Anlagenbau. Für diese Branche ist zum einen das Geschäftsmodellkonzept als strategisches Gestaltungsobjekt noch relativ unbekannt, zum anderen stehen auch der vermehrte Einsatz digitaler Technologien und deren Vernetzung im Zuge von Industrie 4.0 erst am Anfang. Die im Beitrag dargestellte praxiserprobte Vorgehensweise bietet Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung und strategischen Verankerung von Digitalisierungspotenzialen im Geschäftsmodell. Unternehmensbeispiele von Pionierunternehmen veranschaulichen unterschiedliche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten.
