Abstract

The chapter delves into the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, particularly simulation and system dynamics, to create a decision support tool for car dealerships. It discusses the fundamental concepts of system dynamics and its application in the automotive industry, focusing on the development of a model that forecasts and analyzes car sales based on various consumer behaviors and commercial strategies. The model, validated with real sales data, demonstrates a reliable performance, offering insights into how dealerships can enhance their profitability and decision-making processes. The chapter concludes with a reflection on the model's effectiveness and suggests future research directions, including the potential for mathematical formulations and alternative sales prediction methods.
