The reduction of the drag torque in oil-cooled multi-disk clutches contributes to lower fuel consumption and emissions, and in hybrid and electric vehicles with multi-speed transmission to higher ranges. At the Technical University of Braunschweig, a clutch test bench was therefore set up in cooperation with Mubea Tellerfedern, which maps the mechanical and hydraulic conditions of the clutch and the surrounding transmission components in order to make realistic statements for customer operation. …
