Abstract

The article delves into the critical issue of coal and rock power disasters in underground mines, focusing on the impact of hole defects on coal's mechanical properties and infrared response. By conducting uniaxial instability damage tests on coal specimens with circular hole defects, the study examines the effect of hole size on coal's physical properties and infrared radiation characteristics. The findings contribute to the development of effective early warning systems for coal and rock dynamic hazards, enhancing the safety of coal mining operations.
