Zusammenfassung

Base- oder Bottom of the Pyramid-Märkte als Quelle und Abnehmer frugaler Innovationen stellen eine Herausforderung im Rahmen einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung und inklusiver Wertschöpfung dar. Beispielhaft an zwei frugalen Innovationen werden wesentliche Charakteristika eines Nachhaltigkeitsmanagements aufgezeigt. Eine kollaborative Wertschöpfungskette mit vielfältigen Partnern führt zum Erfolg. Lokale Beschaffungsaktivitäten führen zu erheblichen Nachhaltigkeitsvorteilen.
