Abstract

The article investigates the complex interplay of natural convection and magnetic energy dynamics within a triple enclosure filled with ferrofluid. It focuses on the impact of key parameters such as magnetic and thermal Rayleigh numbers, porosity, and Darcy number on heat transfer. The study employs a two-energy equation model to accurately simulate heat transfer through porous media and ferrofluids, revealing intricate flow patterns and isothermal contours. The results highlight how magnetic fields can either enhance or inhibit natural convection, depending on the system's configuration. This research provides valuable insights for optimizing heat transfer in various industrial applications, including thermal management systems and magnetic heat transfer devices.
