Abstract

The article focuses on the use of instructional design to create socially distanced compliance audit materials for a food bank during the COVID-19 pandemic. It details the collaboration between a university and a food bank to develop a job aid accessible via QR codes, reducing shared touchpoints and enhancing safety. The project involved a thorough analysis of performance gaps, learner characteristics, and environmental factors, leading to the creation of a Google Form job aid. The project's success is highlighted by improved audit consistency, reduced supervisor workload, and enhanced safety measures, making it a model for future initiatives.
