Abstract

The article delves into the optimization of Nusselt number and pressure drop in a coiled heat exchanger using water-based nanofluid containing alumina and Ag nanoparticles. By integrating Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II (NSGA-II), the study aims to improve the thermal performance and efficiency of the system. The research highlights the effectiveness of ANN in accurately predicting Nusselt number and pressure drop, and the capability of NSGA-II in multi-objective optimization. The findings offer valuable insights into the optimal design and operation of heat exchangers, contributing to advancements in thermal engineering and energy efficiency.
