Abstract

The article introduces an innovative method for real-time rock characterization during drilling, addressing the critical challenge of predicting rock mechanical properties. By integrating multi-source data from drilling sensors, the method enhances drilling efficiency and core quality. The study combines machine learning algorithms with mechanical and statistical analysis, offering a comprehensive approach to rock characterization. The proposed method was validated through field experiments, demonstrating high accuracy and adaptability to different geological settings. This research paves the way for more efficient and accurate geological drilling techniques.
