Abstract

Im Rahmen des „Kommunen Innovativ (KomKomIn)“-geförderten Projekts „Instrument zur Entscheidungsunterstützung für Großvermieter zur Realisierung von Stadtentwicklungskonzepten (IER-SEK)“ wurde, auf Basis von praxisorientierten Anforderungen aus den Bereichen kommunaler Stadtentwicklung und privater Wohnungswirtschaft, die Individualsoftware IER-SEK-EUS entworfen und realisiert. Dieses Anwendungssystem zählt zu den sogenannten Entscheidungsunterstützungssystemen (EUS). Unter dieser Art von Unternehmensanwendungen werden computergestützte Informationssysteme verstanden, die vorrangig Entscheidungsvorbereitungen auf Führungs- und Managementebene unterstützen sollen (Gluchowski, Gabriel, & Dittmar, Management Support Systeme und Business Intelligence - Computergestützte Informationssysteme für Fach- und Führungskräfte, 2008).
