Abstract

This chapter delves into the integration of Digital Twin concepts within industrial maintenance, focusing on the Industry 4.0 paradigm. It discusses the importance of interoperability for predictive maintenance models and evaluates the compatibility between the RAMI 4.0 and DTaaS architectures. The use of multicriteria decision support methods, such as AHP and PROMETHEE II, is highlighted to assess functional requirements and their relevance to the Digital Twin layers. The chapter concludes with practical recommendations for companies aiming to enhance their maintenance capabilities through Digital Twin implementation.
