Introducing the May 2023 Issue

I am delighted to present the most recent issue of TechTrends, which includes two of our regular columns, a special editorial report, two special collections of papers, and six original papers covering a wide range of topics. The columns in this issue include entries in the Rethinking Creativity and Technology in Education and Graduate Member Musings, both addressing aspects of artificial intelligence. There are two special collections of articles. First, there is a special collection of original papers on the topic of Race and Racism in Educational Technology, which was guest edited by Aman Yadav and Michael Lachney. Their section consists of seven papers covering a variety of topics related to the section’s theme. Aman and Michael have written an introductory editorial to their papers that I encourage you to read. Next, Charles Wang and Felicia Mormah have a special section of papers co-sponsored by the AECT International Division and the Association for Digital Education and Communications, Technology. The three papers in their section resulted from an international conference. They also have an introductory editorial to their papers, which you should read.
