Abstract

The article explores the photocatalytic removal of BTEXS, a group of harmful volatile organic compounds, in aqueous solutions. It introduces a green synthesis method to create an ALV-TiO2/Co-MCM-41 nanocomposite, which effectively degrades BTEXS under visible light. The study delves into the characterization of the nanocomposite, optimization of photocatalytic conditions, and the mechanism of degradation. Notably, the research demonstrates the high efficiency and stability of the nanocomposite, making it a promising solution for industrial wastewater treatment.
