Abstract

This chapter explores the investigation of air resuspension combined with geotextile bag filtration as a method for remediating lake sediments with high phosphorus content. The study focuses on the effectiveness of this technique in reducing phosphorus levels and improving water quality. Key topics include the impact of phosphorus on aquatic ecosystems, the methodology of air resuspension and geotextile filtration, and the results of the experimental study conducted on Lake Canard. The findings demonstrate the potential of this technique to attenuate phosphorus-enriched sediments, offering a promising solution for environmental remediation. The chapter provides a detailed overview of the experimental setup, including sediment sampling, resuspension procedures, and filtration processes.
