Abstract

The article explores the potential of l-arginine hydrobromide monohydrate (LAHBM) crystals for laser technology applications. Through extensive research, the authors investigate the crystal's spectral properties, hardness, and second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) characteristics. The study reveals that LAHBM crystals exhibit a monoclinic structure, high transparency in the visible region, and impressive second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiency. Additionally, the crystals demonstrate a high laser damage threshold, making them suitable for various optical and photonic devices. The research also includes dielectric characterization and FTIR studies, providing a thorough understanding of the crystal's properties. These findings suggest that LAHBM crystals could significantly contribute to advancements in laser technology and related fields.
