Abstract

This article delves into the advantages of using waste glass powder (WGP) as a reinforcement in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) composites. It discusses the global challenge of glass waste and the potential of recycling glass for sustainable applications. The study explores the enhancement of HDPE's mechanical properties, including tensile strength and thermal stability, through the incorporation of WGP. Various characterization techniques, such as FTIR, XRD, TGA, and tensile testing, were employed to analyze the composite's properties. The findings highlight the potential of WGP-reinforced HDPE composites for diverse applications, contributing to waste management and environmental sustainability.
