Zusammenfassung

Will eine NPO wachsen, muss sie investieren: in neue Aufgaben, in die eigene Organisation oder in ihre Mitarbeitenden. Neben der klassischen Investitionsrechnung, die Entscheidungen über zukünftige Investitionen unterstützen kann, wird in diesem Kapitel auch die Vermögensanlage als weitere Investitionsmöglichkeit beschrieben. Durch Impact Investing kann eine NPO als Wirkungseinheit darauf achten, dass auch bei Investitionen an den Finanzmärkten die gesellschaftliche Mission berücksichtigt wird. Darüber hinaus werden neue Instrumente zur Investition in NPO vorgestellt. Neben Defizitgarantien und Darlehen haben in den letzten Jahren vor allem Pay-for-Success-Modelle mehr Aufmerksamkeit erhalten.
