There’s a web site called Neopagans, which runs a subpage called “Spells for Democracy.” The tag line for the page is “Casting spells now, so we can cast votes later.” The thesis of the page seems to be that a kind of “Black Magic” has been used to numb the minds of American citizens who cast votes, so that “Fundamentalist Christian spell-casters…[can] continue to aim directly at the roots of American democracy.” …
