The article explores the application of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in emergency communications and delivery services, highlighting the need for efficient UAV-assisted communication systems. It focuses on a full-duplex UAV relay system operating in the millimeter-wave (mmWave) band, which offers high data rates but faces challenges such as high path loss and self-interference. The authors propose an iterative algorithm to jointly optimize user scheduling, UAV trajectory, beamforming, and power allocation, aiming to maximize the average transmission rate and mitigate self-interference.
