Zusammenfassung

Die Renaissance der Kerntechnologie findet weltweit aufgrund der Klimaveränderung durch CO2 statt. Anfang 2023 befanden sich in 17 Ländern 59 Atomkraftwerke im Bau, so steht es im World Nuclear Industry Status Report. Zehn dieser Bauprojekte wurden erst 2022 begonnen, die Hälfte davon in China. Global betrachtet stammen vier von fünf neuen Reaktoren entweder aus chinesischer oder aus russischer Produktion.
