Zusammenfassung

Der anthropogene Klimawandel zählt zu den größten Herausforderungen der heutigen Gesellschaft. Verantwortlich für den Klimawandel ist mit einer hohen Wahrscheinlichkeit die kontinuierlich seit Beginn der Industrialisierung 1850 steigende Konzentration an Treibhausgasen (IPCC 2013b). Zu den wichtigsten Treibhausgasen in der Atmosphäre gehören Wasserdampf (H2O), Kohlendioxid (CO2), Methan (CH4), Lachgas (N2O), Ozon (O3) sowie die fluorierten Gase (F-Gase). Sie zählen zu den Spurenstoffen in der Atmosphäre und betragen gerade mal 1 % der in der Luft enthaltenen Moleküle und Partikel; den größten Anteil nehmen Stickstoff (N, 78 %) und Sauerstoff (O2, 21 %) ein.
