Zusammenfassung

In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wird ein Überblick über negative Führungsverhaltensweisen gegeben, die gesundheitsbezogene Auswirkungen für Mitarbeitende und die Führungskraft selbst haben (können). Dabei werden beispielhaft mit Laissez-faire Führung und despotischer Führung (abusive supervision) passive bzw. aktive Formen negativer Führung und deren Ursachen und Entstehungsmechanismen aufgezeigt. Das Kapitel gibt zum Abschluss einen Überblick über entsprechende Maßnahmen zur Prävention und Intervention, um das Aufkommen von krankmachender Führung zu verhindern oder dessen Folgen zumindest abzumildern.
