Abstract

The article delves into the critical role of dielectric materials in the electronics and electrical industries, highlighting the limitations of ferroelectric ceramics and polymers in energy storage and thermal management. It introduces the use of graphene-boron nitride hybrids to address these challenges, presenting a novel method to insulate conductive graphene nanosheets with boron nitride. The study focuses on the preparation of polypropylene nanocomposites via melt compounding, showcasing improved thermal stability and dielectric properties at low content of the hybrid material. The research offers a promising approach to enhance energy storage density and thermal management in polymer composites for advanced power applications.
