Abstract

The study investigates the impact of embodied interactions on learning STEM subjects, focusing on binary and decimal number conversions. It compares learning outcomes between Kinect-enabled interactions and traditional mouse-based methods in a computer-assisted learning environment for adult learners. The research aims to determine if embodied interactions facilitate better knowledge acquisition and application. The findings suggest that while both methods showed improvement in learning, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of knowledge retention and application. The study contributes to the understanding of effective design elements for embodied learning environments.
