Zusammenfassung

Life-Coaching weist historisch betrachtet ebenfalls eine lange Tradition auf. Bei genauerer Betrachtung zeigt sich jedoch, dass auch der Begriff Life-Coaching mit einem sehr heterogenen Grundverständnis gebraucht wird. In der vorliegenden Systematik steht das Anwendungsfeld Life-Coaching für alle jene Coaching-Falle, die weder im Business- noch im Non-Profit-Bereich stattfinden bzw. von deren Zielsetzungen bestimmt werden, sondern persönliche Themen betreffen bzw. im eher privaten Handlungsmilieu stattfinden. Sie gruppieren sich zu den Subanwendungsfeldern Gesundheits-Coaching, Coaching im Bildungskontext und Coaching für private Lebensthemen. Dabei nimmt das Subanwendungsfeld „Gesundheit“ den größten Raum ein (25 Studien). Fast ebenso stark vertreten ist das Subanwendungsfeld „Bildung“ (22 Studien). Vier empirische Studien konnten dem Bereich „Coaching für private Lebensthemen“ zugeordnet werden.
