Abstract

In diesem Kapitel wird zu Beginn ausführlich auf den Begriff der linearen Gleichung eingegangen. Darauf aufbauend werden lineare Gleichungssysteme behandelt und dazu die aus der Schulmathematik bekannten einfachen Algorithmen zur Lösung von Systemen mit zwei und drei Variablen wiederholt. Der in der Hochschulmathematik besonders wichtige Gauß-Algorithmus wird zunächst speziell zur Lösung von Systemen mit drei Variablen vorgestellt und zum Abschluss des Kapitels zur Lösung von Systemen mit beliebiger Variablenanzahl verallgemeinert.
