Abstract

The article presents a groundbreaking approach to wearable electronics by integrating liquid metal into cotton/lycra elastic fabric to create flexible antennas and strain sensors. Unlike traditional rigid antennas, these flexible designs can seamlessly integrate into clothing, withstanding deformation caused by movements. The liquid metal circuits exhibit exceptional conductivity and self-healing capabilities, making them ideal for applications in health care, military, and recreation. The study demonstrates various prototypes, including a pressure switch for thermal management, a flexible NFC antenna for identification, and wearable sensors for real-time human motion monitoring.
