Abstract

The chapter focuses on the load testing and structural monitoring of a mid-century reinforced concrete bridge in Italy, using advanced diagnostic techniques to assess its current condition and performance. The bridge, built in the 1950s, has undergone extensive topographic and dynamic characterization, including ambient vibration tests and mechanical characterization through destructive and non-destructive field tests.
