Abstract

The article delves into the promising field of magnonics, where magnons—collective spin excitations—are harnessed as information carriers in micro- and nanoscale systems. It explores the advantages of spin waves over standard electronics, particularly their low energy dissipation and ease of driving into nonlinear regimes. The focus is on achieving coherent magnon dynamics for interfacing spin chains with other quantum systems, despite the challenges posed by disorder. The study investigates a Heisenberg linear chain with uncorrelated diagonal and off-diagonal disorder, demonstrating that intrinsic correlations can be exploited for high-fidelity quantum state transfer. Two distinct scenarios are addressed: resonant state transfer mediated by an anomalous uniform magnon mode and off-resonant state transfer leveraging extended states within the channel. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the localization properties of the channel and the conditions for optimal state transfer, offering valuable insights into the design of robust quantum communication protocols in disordered systems.
