Abstract

The article introduces an innovative model predictive current control (MPCC) method for dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (DT-PMSMs). This method extends the control set to include 24 voltage vectors, significantly reducing harmonic currents and improving steady-state performance. The proposed method also incorporates duty cycle modulation to fix the switching frequency, enhancing the motor's overall efficiency and lifespan. Experimental results validate the superior performance of the method compared to existing techniques, making it a valuable contribution to the field of motor control systems.
