In the previous Chapter some aspects of learning that are related to the new introduced concept of the knowledge implementation were described. In this Section a short survey of literature on the vast topic concerning learning by machine is presented. Not only humans, animals but also some machines have the ability to learn. The complete and autonomous learning systems that start with the general inference rules and learning techniques, and gradually acquire more complex skills and knowledge through continuous interaction with the information-rich external environment, are designed to be applied in areas such as robotics. These systems utilize the sensory data such as sound and image and combine them during reasoning process. The research in robotics is focused on learning which makes it possible for a robot to move and perform required work ([26], [27], [28], [29], [30], [31]).
