22. Marketing im Smart Stadium

Zusammenfassung

Als „Smart Stadium“ bezeichnete Stadien und Arenen verknüpfen die eingesetzten digitalen Technologien zunehmend intelligent. Dieser Beitrag zeigt zunächst auf, wie sich die verschiedenen digitalen Applikationen zur integrierten, intelligenten Digitalisierung der Stadien clustern lassen, bevor er die einhergehenden Chancen bzw. Herausforderungen insbesondere im Marketing-Kontext darstellt. Neben den Erkenntnissen aus der Recherche der internationalen Fachliteratur werden zudem die Ergebnisse einer empirischen Studie des Internationalen Fußballinstituts eingearbeitet. Im Zuge dieser Analyse wurde die Perspektive und Expertise der Stadionbetreiber im deutschsprachigen Raum (DACH-Region) anhand von 13 qualitativen Experteninterviews erhoben. Abschließend wird veranschaulicht, wie sich der Sport im Sinne einer zunehmenden Eventisierung entwickelt und damit einen erhöhten Bedarf an Stadien und Arenen produziert.
