Having put forward the concept of the Leadership Lifecycle — how organ-izations go through tangible phases of their existence which require different leadership roles if they are to be navigated successfully — what remains is how to translate this concept into practical applications for individuals and organizations. While some of the lessons for those appointing leaders, individuals seeking leadership roles, and particularly for those currently in leadership roles can be derived from the description of the Leadership Lifecycle itself, it is perhaps worth highlighting the practical applications for each group. The value of the Leadership Life-cycle can be addressed to four primary groups; those aspiring to a leader-ship position, those currently in a leadership position, those who appoint leaders for organizations, and those who are responsible for developing leaders in their organization.
