Abstract

The article delves into the mathematical modelling of polyacrylamide adsorption processes, highlighting its significance in industries like oil and gas production. It discusses the influence of various factors on adsorption and compares different models such as Langmuir, Freundlich, and Temkin. The study identifies the Langmuir model as the most accurate for describing the adsorption process on quartz sand, and introduces a three-model isotherm for enhanced accuracy across different concentration ranges. The research aims to optimize technological operations involving polymers and enhance understanding of their behavior in various media.
