Abstract

The article investigates the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) in a Flipped Learning environment for engineering students, focusing on critical thinking, learning motivation, and knowledge gain. It presents a study where AR was used to teach digital electronics through Karnaugh maps, comparing the outcomes with a traditional flipped learning approach. The research highlights the significant positive impact of AR on students' critical thinking skills, knowledge acquisition, and learning motivation. The study is organized into sections discussing related work, the development of the AR learning system, methodology, experimental results, and conclusions. The findings suggest that AR can be a powerful tool in enhancing the learning experience and outcomes in engineering education.
