Abstract

The chapter discusses the growing demand for high-quality roads due to industrialization and urbanization, leading to the need for effective soil stabilization techniques. It introduces the use of hybrid sawdust ash as a soil stabilizer, derived from biomass waste, and explores its potential for road construction. The study focuses on the mechanical strength of the stabilized soil, assessed through unconfined compression strength tests. The results demonstrate that sawdust ash can significantly enhance soil strength, with optimal results at a 15% replacement rate. This innovative approach not only addresses the disposal issue of sawdust ash but also promotes sustainable road construction practices.
