2. Medienmanagement im Marketing-Mix

Zusammenfassung

Der erste Teil des Buchs beschäftigt sich mit Medienmanagement als Aufgabe im Marketing-Mix eines Unternehmens. Auf Basis des Modells strategischer Unternehmenskommunikation werden zwei große Handlungsfelder entwickelt – die Marktkommunikation und die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit – und diesen Bereichen die vier Kommunikationsinstrumente Werbung, Direktansprache, Public Relations und Societal Relations zugeordnet. Basis des Einsatzes von Instrumenten ist die Festlegung von Zielen in operativer, taktischer und strategischer Ebene, weshalb ich die Erörterung mit einer Beschreibung des Strategiebegriffs beginne. Die vier Kommunikationsinstrumente werden dann im Einzelnen hinsichtlich ihres Leistungsbeitrags für das Unternehmen und ihrer konkreten Anwendung in der Praxis beschrieben.
