Abstract

The article introduces a new approach for generating randomly perturbed density operators subject to different sets of constraints, focusing on the impact of perturbations on entanglement measures in quantum systems. The method is applied to study perturbed Bell states in Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) devices, where noise significantly affects quantum algorithm performance. The authors discuss the implementation of the method and present experimental results using IBM's superconducting quantum processor. The article highlights the importance of understanding the relationship between perturbations and entanglement measures, and it provides insights into the behavior of quantum states under various constraints. The method is also extended to initial state preparation for simulations of quantum devices using a master equation, demonstrating its versatility in quantum information science.
