Abstratct

Since microwave can penetrate clouds, rain and snow, microwave remote sensing can provide with all-weather all-time detection capability. This chapter provides design of passive remote sensing antennas including traditional antenna of radiometer and synthetic aperture radiometer antenna in detail. Moreover, active remote sensing antenna such as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and scatterometer are also involved.
