Mitarbeiterbindung in klein- und mittelständischen Unternehmen (KMU): Untersuchung der Einflussfaktoren am Beispiel der Generation Y

Zusammenfassung

Infolge der demografischen Entwicklung und des daraus resultierenden Fachkräftemangels in Europa sollten sich Unternehmen auf die Bindung ihrer Mitarbeiter fokussieren. Insbesondere für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) ist dies aufgrund ihrer oftmals begrenzten finanziellen Ressourcen von Bedeutung. Deshalb ist es das Ziel dieser Studie zu bestimmen, welche Faktoren für die Arbeitnehmer der Generation Y (geboren zwischen 1980 und 2000) wichtig sind, um sich an ein kleines und mittleres Unternehmen zu binden.
Um die Gültigkeit der wichtigsten Einflussfaktoren der Mitarbeiterbindung aus verschiedenen Studien zu überprüfen, die in einem literatur- und theoriebasierten Strukturgleichungsmodell dargestellt sind, haben Millennials, die in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen arbeiten, eine Umfrage auf einer fünfstufigen Likert-Skala beantwortet. Die empirischen Daten wurden mit der Partial-Least-Square-(PLS)-Methode analysiert.
Die Studie zeigt, dass die wahrgenommene Unternehmensunterstützung (POS), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) und Jobzufriedenheit eine entscheidende Rolle zur Bindung der Generation Y beitragen. Insgesamt liefern die Ergebnisse wichtige Erkenntnisse für KMU und haben Auswirkungen auf die Praktiken des Personalmanagements (HRM).
