Abstract

The chapter introduces a mobile machine equipped with a hydrostatic hybrid drive train, designed to comply with EU directives on carbon emissions reduction. The machine features two independent energy sources—a diesel engine and an electric motor powered by a battery pack—allowing it to operate efficiently in both closed and open environments. The hydrostatic transmission ensures high torque at low speeds, making it ideal for heavy-duty tasks. The machine's hydraulic system is meticulously designed to provide superior maneuverability and control, with a programmable logic controller managing various functional subsystems. The inclusion of a 30-kWh battery and an advanced battery management system further enhances the machine's efficiency and reliability. The chapter also discusses potential future improvements, such as energy recovery and adaptive energy management systems, highlighting the machine's adaptability and scalability for various applications. The detailed technical specifications and innovative design make this chapter a valuable resource for professionals seeking advanced solutions in mobile machinery.
