Abstract

This chapter delves into the profound effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on India's healthcare system, highlighting the challenges faced due to the global spread of the virus. It discusses the symptoms and preventive measures taken by the Indian government, such as curfews, social distancing, and vaccinations. The study employs advanced modeling techniques, including the Susceptible-Exposed-Infectious-Recovered (SEIR) model and logistic growth modeling, to understand the transmission dynamics and impact of the pandemic. Additionally, it analyzes the effectiveness of lockdown strategies and social distancing measures in controlling the outbreak. The chapter also provides insights into the demographics of India's healthcare system and the challenges faced during the pandemic, making it a valuable resource for professionals seeking to understand the epidemiological aspects of the COVID-19 crisis in India.
