Abstract

The article delves into the modification of NiCoP nanocages anodes using epoxy-functionalized silane to improve their electrochemical performance in lithium-ion batteries. The study addresses the critical challenges of volume change and low electronic conductivity in anode materials, which are crucial for enhancing energy density and cycle life. The authors synthesize NiCoP nanocages and coat them with 3-Mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane (KH580) to enhance their dispersion and performance. The resulting KH580-NiCoP nanocages exhibit superior lithium storage activity, excellent cyclability, and outstanding rate capacity. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the synthesis process, material characterization, and electrochemical properties, making it a valuable resource for researchers and professionals in the field of battery technology.
