Abstract

The article introduces a groundbreaking biosensor for detecting cardiac troponin, a critical biomarker for cardiovascular diseases. By utilizing molybdenum disulphide/cellulose acetate nanofiber composite on screen-printed electrodes and electrical impedance spectroscopy, the sensor exhibits exceptional sensitivity and low detection limits. The study highlights the sensor's ability to detect troponin I even in the presence of human serum, offering a promising tool for early diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular conditions.
